How do I register to participate in the Tough Mudder?

You can register online by visiting toughmudder.com/events/big-bear/

How do I make sure I can participate with Associates from my Store or Department?

We have spots reserved for In-N-Out Associates, Friends and Family on Friday, September 5th to ensure you can complete your Mudder alongside your fellow Associates!

To access, be sure to click into the “Exclusive” option on the Tough Mudder page. This option will be listed first.
The following page you will see “INO Participant” on each registration option – that’s how you know you’ve landed in the right spot.
Make sure to enter the password “INOTOUGH48” to secure your spot.
The password is shareable and case-sensitive.

What if I cannot participate on Friday, September 5?

We understand that not all Associates may be able to participate on our designated day. Associates have the option to register on Saturday or Sunday, but the exclusive discounted rates are only available on Friday by using the password INOTOUGH48.

What are the additional fees beyond my registration cost?

Tough Mudder does have mandatory fees required for all registrations:

$14 Insurance Fee, covers insurance costs and expenses for related risk management and safety measures provided to attendees.

How do I get photos of me participating in the race?

During the registration process, there will be an optional photo package for $29.99, provided by Tough Mudder. You’ll receive up to 40 professional on-site photos to share with friends and family!

I can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?

Tough Mudder offers a no-questions-asked, 48-hour refund policy from the time of purchase for purchases made online, including participant registrations, general admission registrations, Mudder Village registrations, parking passes, bag drop, and premium start waves offered directly by Tough Mudder. After 48-hours, refunds are not available.

Can I purchase registrations at the door?

Spots are limited each day, so we suggest purchasing before the event. If the event is not sold out, yes registration will be available on the day of the event on a first come, first served basis.

Is parking included?

Yes, parking is available to all registered participants. More information on where to park will be provided to participants closer to the event date.

Can my family come to watch me participate?

Yes, if your family wants to stay on the sidelines and cheer you on there are Spectator & Mudder Village Passes available for purchase. These passes are required for anyone who is over 13 years old to spectate at the venue. Children under 13 years old are free to attend with their parent/guardian.

Will there be food or beverages available?

Included with your registration is a Finisher Meal from one of our Cookout Trucks.

Will there be alcohol?

In keeping with Slave 2 Nothing Foundation’s mission, alcohol will not be served or permitted at the event.

Will there be Peer 2 Peer Fundraising opportunities like the No Delay 5K?

Yes, we will feature fun fundraising opportunities for participants to earn swag just for fundraising! Look out for the launch of this feature in 2025.

I don’t want to get muddy, how do I attend as a Spectator?

We understand, and yes! There are two different Spectator passes to choose from:

Spectator & Mudder Village Passes are available for purchase on the Tough Mudder website. These passes are required for anyone who is over 13 years old to spectate at the venue. Children under 13 years old are free to attend with their parent/guardian.
Exclusive VIP Viewing Passes are also available to help you get as close to the action, without stepping foot on an obstacle. Limited spots are available and can be purchased soon.
